OnePlus Pad Go is all set for its launch on October 6, with a series of details now officially confirmed by the company. Previously teased to sport a unique Twin Mint color option, the tablet has further caught the public’s attention with its features, which aim to make it an affordable alternative to the already launched OnePlus Pad.

An Amazon microsite and the official OnePlus India page have been updated with new information. Among the standout features, the Pad Go is confirmed to come equipped with a quad-speaker unit and Dolby Atmos audio support, aiming to deliver a cinematic sound experience to users. The device will feature an 11.35-inch ReadFit Eye Care LCD display with a 2.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio, explicitly designed for eye comfort.

Twitter user OneNormalUsername (@1NormalUsername) has shed more light on the device’s storage capabilities. The OnePlus Pad Go is expected to come in an 8GB + 256GB variant with UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage, with rumors suggesting a possible 128GB option.

The tablet is also speculated to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and will likely feature 8-megapixel sensors for both the front and rear cameras. It’s expected to pack an 8,000mAh battery and will use a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

Intriguingly, the leak also indicates that the tablet may run on a Linux kernel and is likely to be available in both Wi-Fi and cellular variants.

While the official announcement is just around the corner, these details give a substantial glimpse into what could be a game-changer in the tablet market, particularly for those eyeing a budget-friendly, feature-rich option.
