Apple’s iPhone 16 lineup is highly anticipated to feature new A18 and A18 Pro chips, according to analyst Jeff Pu. These chips, produced on TSMC’s N3E node for the A18 Pro, are expected to outperform the current A17 Bionic chip in terms of speed and power efficiency.
Rumors surrounding the iPhone 16 Pro models are already abundant, including options for 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, a new “Capture Button”, a 48MP Ultra Wide camera, and support for Wi-Fi 7. Both Pro models are also touted to come with 5x optical zoom.
While specifics of the A18 and A18 Pro chips are yet to be disclosed, this new information highlights Apple’s continual push to advance smartphone technology. The company appears poised to keep its competitive edge in an increasingly congested market.
